mh and led for supplemtation

hi,

in the process of upgrading to a 180 72x2x2, built by coast to coast, has external overflow. i am building my own light fixture. will be using 3 250 w mh lights, was thinking of using leds instead of t5, has any body tries this? thought about mounting ai or radions units in the fixture. not sure how this will work out. if any body can offer any advise i would greatly welcome it.

thanks roy

Have you thought of doing some strips of diy leds? The Radion's would be drowned out by the intensity of the MH and seems like an unnecessary expense.
Some RB led's should give you that led pop you're looking for.

I use my LEDS on my 300 so I can enjoy my tank longer. I use 6 stunner strips which I now do not help in the growth of the coral but it gets them to open up and they look good till the MH lights come on 6 hours later. I run them from 9am to 10:15pm
