ravi's 120 gal oceanic tech tank set up
hello r/c i have learned alot from this form and started as 10 gal tank to 30 gal reef tank and then 75 gal tank now i have 120 gal tank. i have no room for bigger tank so i am keeping my self limited to 120 gal mixed reef tank. this system went through alot and i am sure everyone has similar story or i should say history with their system and past experiences. When i say this system went through alot, i meant it crashed in past due to amature mistakes and last mistake was i did water change and i put on sponge filter to polish water on the return pump which was iwaki rlt 100 and i had fligh to catch. i was going away for 10 days. i went through the system with new check ato bucket that its full. three days later my wife called and said there is really bad smell coming from the tank. i thoughthat it was skimmer but it was filter sponge. overtime it got stuck and circulation stopped and 95% of live stock was gone.my picasso clowns, tangs, chromises, cleaner shrimp after i came backi did major water change and but it was never the same i had gha breakout then i decided to redo my system and came with better plan. so this is what it looks like now after 6 months of care.
