what plumbing do I need for the return
I need advice on how to enter the aquarium and drilling isn't an option. I've tried searching to see pics of other examples but no luck. I'm not really clear what I should use for max flow. Do you use more of a sweep. I would think using 90's would restrict water flow requiring a larger gph than needed. Just unclear how to enter the tank and disperse the water. Pics would be great. Still looking for a pump though thats quiet yet affordable. I need 600gph with a max lift of 5' but probably 3.5-4'. Any recommendations appreciated. I was looking at the Mags and seen the chart but I can't seem to find for other pumps.
Thanks Scott |

Yes, it'll be best to use sweeps, 45s, flexible tubing or flexible PVC. I recommend avoiding 90s if possible. In your case since drilling isn't an option, it will need to go up and over which will require quite a lot of turning. It's not going to make a big difference in terms of flow but it will make it easier on the pump.
I've heard good things about Quiet One pumps. They run cheaper than Mag Drive's too. Check them out.
