Best external pump (1100 to 1400 gph)
I am looking for opinions on the best external pump in the 1100 to 1500 gph at around 4 ft of head pressure range. I would like it to be quiet, cool running,maintenance free and energy efficient. It will replace my 11 year old Little Giant 3 mdqx-sc for my sump. Thanks,Dennis

Iwaki's are great work horses! I use an MD40 for my closed loop and it is quiet, runs cool and has nice pressure rating. The WMD Iwaki's are also quality pumps with American motors, priced lower than the WD's, Japanese motors.
