Live Rock

I just started a new 75 gallon reef aquarium with a 20 gallon sump. I just added live rock and live sand. The ammonia spiked very quickly. Should I leave the lights on all noght for the live rock?

When I was setting up mine I set the temp to 82 and left the light on 24/7 for a week.

Then I started to cycle the lights. This was to get me used to seeing it when I pulled up and to not make the bloom too large.
