Tunze 6105 or 6095 for 66" tank

Hi

My koralias are starting to fail and will like to try controllable pumps, i set on tunze hate the look and sound of vortechs, my tank is a mixed reef mostly soft and LPS, i really like the 6095 but i don't know if it will be enough for my tank that is 66"Lx20"Wx22"H.

I'll buy 2 pumps, are the 6095 enough or should i go with 6105??

I use two 6095s in my 30X24X24 tank.
I think 6105 or higher would be suitable for your tank.

This is a direct quote from Rvitko, the Tunze rep here on the forums. Obviously about a 4' long 120g, but good info none the less:

"A 6095 has a 3ft by about 30" flow pattern, a 6105 with 6205.130 front housing at 24V has a 4.5ft by 36" flow pattern. The 6095 may be a bit short on reach, but with another pump is likely sufficient for an LPS and softy focused 120 and it is a much smaller pump."

If the 6095's are too short on reach for the 48" tank you'd probably want to go with the 6105 with 6205 housing (they supposedly ship the with housing now for free).

The 6105 is the better choice. And Hobbzz is correct that they do come with a second, wide-flow housing.
