Suggestion on powerhead for JBJ 28g
I have a 28g JBJ cube running the two stock pumps and i currently have two Koralia Nano powerheads in the tank. i am starting to get some stray voltage from both pumps (which are over 2 years old) so I want to replace them.
I am wondering what i should go with. One option is to buy two more Koralia Nanos, another one i came up with is to get a Tunze 6025. I would only need 1 of the Tunze pumps, right? would i get better flow using two smaller pumps or the single tunze? Any other suggestions for a powerhead for my tank, and need to stay under $100 so the MP10 is not an option. Please help! |

I ran a Tunze 6025 for a while when I had my 30 cube running. It's a decent pump. I think one would be enough along with the flow from the return. Unless you are keeping corals that like a high flow environment. (sps)

Always think about what you'll do when you upgrade, MP60 all the way

No reason for a Vortech on that tank. Some people like to be extreme. I think its a complete waste of money if you were to do a Vortech.
Koralia 1 would work just fine. |
