My tank at 42 days

Some pics of my 180 gallon at the 42 day mark. It cycled in about 3 to 4 weeks because I bought it used and preserved some live rock and sand. I am on the fence about the green hair algae. I don't think there is very much for this size tank, and it isn't getting worse. The refugium has only been installed for 2 weeks. My pars are ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5ppm, ph 8.0, temp 79, salinity 1.0225. What are the opinions at this point? Thanks.

I see you are starting to purple up thats great. Didn't see any livestock so i dont know if you are planning on FOWLR or Reef. If your planning FOWLR then salinity is good, but for reef up it to at least 1.025 I would work on thiose Nitrates though unless you plan to have Zoas , GSP ect... and I would focus on those phosphates and nitrates to help with the hair algea. I assume it was the reuse of old sand as I can see it growing from the sand itself. Carbon, Purigen and Phospban use will help greatly, as will time.
Not sure about other levels like Ca, Alk, ect... but make sure they are within normal parameters for good coroline growth.

Great job so far!

Happy Reefing

I see no issues with the small amount of hair algae. If its not spreading it could go away on its own. Do you know your phosphate levels? Even if they are zero, phosphates could still be there, but being consumed by the hair algae.
How did you fill the tank? Was it tap water or zero TDS RO/di?
How old are the bulbs? They could be out of spectrum?

I guess I should give a little more info with the update. I have the 4 stage ro/di from BRS. I have new bulbs ordered that should be here Wednesday. I ordered them once, but waited a week for the place to tell me they were back ordered, then had to reorder from a different place. I have the salinity set to match my lfs until I get it stocked and start on corals. I'm not planning corals until I get the ato built. Some of the coraline came form the old rock, then I bought one piece that was completely purple. I have 5 turbo snails, 2 emerald crabs, 9 hermit crabs, and 3 green chromis. I see the chromis eating the hair algae constantly. I am hesitant to add any more snails fearing that they won't have enough to eat eventually. I am waiting another few weeks before adding anything else.
