reef ready tanks?? deep blue or perfecto? (no megaflow)

i'm looking at 65g reef ready tanks and it's down to a deep blue or perfecto corner overflow tank i've allready decided i don't want another megaflow tank becouse the overflow takes up to much space and it's ugly.(this tank will replace a 72bowfront w/megaflow).
i have owned perfecto and aga tanks and am happy with the quality but i know nothing about the deep blue tanks except their a little cheeper.
can anyone tell me anything about the deep blue tanks.
is the quality on par with aga and others .
is the floodgate setup problematic?
thanks

Don't quote me, but I have heard of a lot of quality control issues with the deep blue tanks. Inspect carefully before buying.

I thought Deep Blue tanks had pretty obtrusive overflows as well. I know the 75's is pretty large. I've never seen a 65. I actually cant stand any of the factory ones so I drilled the tank and installed a semi coast to coast.

With regards to quality I did hear some bad things about their tanks early on but not enough to stop me from picking up a 24x24x12 rimless frag tank. It didn't have the greatest fit and finish but it still looks very nice and its been holding water for a few months now. I would buy it again for the price.

I see you're in mass. Have you talked to Brendon at unique aquaria? IIRC he has been pretty direct and on the ball about dealing with deep blue and looking out for his customers in the past. (no affiliation here) Might be worth a little extra effort to go through him if you are going deep blue?
