Going Ich crazy?
Long story short, in the midst of upgrading from my 29-55 I thought I saw Ich on my only two fish (clown and flame angel) for the past week they have been in qt and been awaiting my copper order offline. I look every day and maybe see one or two or no spots. Now for theist two days I see NOtHING. Not one white dot on either. If it was Ich would it diminish so quickly? I feel like it may have been sand from my DT cuz they would often kick sand up and now there is no sand in the qt so it's gone?

I'd read the ich stickies in the RC Disease forum; a knowledge of ich's life cycle is important for any of us. Its very common for ich to "disappear" for a bit, especially when numbers are low. If it was ich, it will be back; possibly at very dangerous levels. BTW, the white spot you see isn't the actual parasite, its well under the skin. Ich also loves to hide & feed in the gills. If this was ich, it will never go away without proper treatment.

The parasite leaves the fish to complete the lifecycle. So it is normal for it to go away, ich reproduce in the aquarium and then reinfect with vengeance. Now is a good time to move them to another tank
