Two dwarf angels in same tank?

Was thinking about adding two dwarf angels to my 56 gallon tank. One bicolor and one yellow angelfish Anyone have sucess with multiple angels if added at the same time? Or am I going to have to choose one or the other.

IMO two angels in that small of a tank will create issues, best to have one.

You can have one in a 30 gal tank maybe two if you had a tank of 125 gal or more but the tank you have is just to small.

I put in two at the same time (flame and coral beauty) in my 120 and they got along great for almost 6 months, then one day the flame turned on the coral beauty and beat him up good. I pulled it out and into a hospital tank and its healthy again but it's scared of even me feeding it now lol, I doubt I'll torture him by putting him back in again

I have a 29 gal and my lfs sold me a bicolor and a coral beauty knowing I had that small of a tank they starting fighting right off the bat I took one back and the other actually killed everything else in my tank (scooter blenny and a royal gramma) very bad idea I wouldn't put a dwarf in a 30 gal with any other fish just my opinion

Not a good idea, they will most likely kill one of each other.

The answer to your question is 3 or more Dwarf Angels added together. 2 will allow the dominant fish to pick soley on the other, however when there are more than 2, the harassment becomes diluted between the other fish, ensuring that 1 lone fish will not recieve the brunt of the abuse. I have 5 Dwarf angels in a 250g tank along with 10 or 11 large angels with zero problems. I also had 6 Dwarfs in a 55g years ago before I upgraded my reef tank with no problems except them picking on my SPS.

Honestly I have tried two and three in a tank and both times it turned bad. I think you would be best just picking the one you like best and not risking it. I had to tear my tank apart to save one of the Angels I had. Not fun.

Well based on everyones replies I will just go with the bi color angel. Any recommendations on a smaller bright yellow fish for my 56 gallon? I'm looking for like that yellow tang yellow color.
