Quick answer!!!!

Hi I am ordering a 2in lamarks on live aquaria today and I have a 1.5-2in flame angel on hold in my LFS, due to traveling I have to go get the flame tomorrow and the lamarks will not show until Monday or Tuesday, is this ok or will this end bad.

Also while we r on topic how reef safe are flames in your experience

The flame angel I had nipped almost every single eye off my chalice. Fortunately I caught the little sucker and took him back before it was too late and the chalice made a comeback.

Dwarf Angels are a favorite of mine, and I've tried them four different times over the years. They all had a taste for something in my tank. I thought I got lucky with the last one, a Flame Angel, until I bought my first clam, and saw his taste was for calm mantle. So, in my experience, I wouldn't call them "reef safe".
Do you have anything that you can use to keep the two apart in the QT?

I have heard success stories and horror stories about angels and reefs.......We keep a good amount of LPS so I wouldn't go with one. What kind of corals would you be interested in keeping?

No sorry I have a 76gal qt and that's it haha, and my LFS as agreed to taking him back if he's bad, and my tank is mostly LPS, I have candy canes , acans, Duncan, frogspawn, hammer, war coral, bubble coral, as for SPS go I have several types of monti, birds nest, and acropora, and for soft corals I have lots of zoas, GSP, toadstool, and mushrooms

A friend of mine had a flame angel in his reef with now problems. He mostly had SPS and a few Zoas. Not sure about the chalice issue though.

The flame will probably eat your coral, the Lamarks is reef safe. The Lamarks is a different type of Angel, they should get along fine.

Honestly if this is going into a 76g tank you should start paying attention to your bioload. You really need to feed them often and the Lamarks is going to get big. I have been keeping Genicanthus Angels for years and to keep them really healthy they need a plentiful and varied diet.

I have a Potters Angelfish in my reef. He eats the stuff I don't like and want to remove. We get along well

Nice a 125 is much better

They could eat anything but if you can catch him then by all means give it a go. Flames are awesome.
