At the beginning, it appear there is an SPS coral (maybe a birdsnest?) on the sandbed on the very left side. This isn't correct placement, it should be mounted on a rock in a relatively high lit and high flow area. That's all I saw. Nice aquascaping

Any stats on what we're looking at? Tank size, lighting? How long has it been running?

Notes:
Tangs need big tanks, really.
Derasa clams get BIG - mine is currently over 13" long and takes up a good 1/5th of the floor space in my 90G. They're also high light critters, so make sure you're setup correctly.

its a 80 gallon
4 bulb t5 light
Eshopps PSK-100H Protein Skimmer
tank is about 6 months old
I change about 12-5 gallons of water a week, about 3 4-5 gallon changes every 2-3 days.

How fast do the clams grow?

Depending how fast everything grows I will buy a bigger tank, probably the biggest I will get is a 120-50 gallon tank though.

I will move the sps.

Thinking of getting a green bubble tip anemone, what do you guys think?

My clam started out in the ~4inch size about 7 years ago (didn't realize it was that old :O).

Do your clowns host to anything and is that why you're thinking of a bubble tip? If your water parameters are good and stay established, BTAs are an option. Personally, I dislike anemones since they can be mobile and will rule the tank

They hang around allot around the glass cleaner :/ and thats about it, one always sleeps by it and the other on the sand, so I make sure his cleaner is always in its place HAHA

They also like to go in front of big powerhead lol they get in front of it and let it push them to the other side of the tank and swim back and do it over and over again.

Will the BTAs hurt corals?

+1 on the water changes you can crash that way.anemones usually do better b4 u get the clowns.wattage on lights is?btas are "easy" but not with rough clowns u need to start large if you get one hope it lands in a open space no matter how hard u try if a btw wants to move it will they have a 1 track mind to live in the best of its choosing.to me if you have a dsb the easiest and toughest of all nems is the lta..they don't fully close when looping like the bta does and that's when I rough clown does the most damage to the nem.

okay I got a anemone two days ago, clown fish would not get near it... I printed out pictures of clown fish hosting anemones and today they started to host it.
