tiny specs of crawling white dots?
hi,
i'm cycling my tank with live rocks and live sand and just a few days ago i noticed there are very TINY white dots, they look like the size of a grain of fine sand but there are a bunch of them and its crawling around on the backside of my glass. theres nothing in my tank except sand and rocks. should i be worried? i took a picture but because they are so small u cant really see anything except for white dots. the bottom left side are the white crawling dots, the top stuff are microbubbles.

can you explain what they do? what they are for, where they came from? harmful or not. do i need to do anything?

They are great and a good sign. Means your tank is maturing properly. They just eat stuff in the tank. Fish will eat them, they are wonderful.
