Quick End of Cycle Q
All-
I recently finished a fishless cycling of my bare bottom, dry rock, 90 gallon. Currently the tank is in day #41. The parameters returned to 0 after spiking the Ammonia @ 3ppm and Nitrite at 3-4 ppm. Once everything was at 0 ppm on day #30 I added 4 small Chromis. The parameters are now reading and holding steady with the Ammonia 0.50 ppm, Nitrite 0 and Nitrate 0. The Chromis seems to be doing very well. My question at this point is should I do a small water change or continue to leave things alone? Thanks!

The ammonia level at 0.5 is a concern, 4 fish at once was too large of a load for your bacteria to process. I would make a water change to reduce ammonia to 0.25 at the very highest. Do not add additional livestock until the ammonia drops back to zero.
