New Coral Bleaching - Need Help
I just set up a new 15 gal Reef Tank 2 weeks ago. Bought 2 damsels and 18 Lb of Fiji Live rock, Some of it came with corals (including a LPS that I can not identify). I added Bacteria to speed up the nitrogen cycle process, I was able to read some signs of ammonia the first 2 days and afterwords ammonia, nitrites and nitrates have remained undetectable. I did a 5 gal water change yesterday to help export some of the phosphates the macroalge that came with the live rocks is releasing.
I'm trying to save this coral but it seems I don't know what to do next. Any ideas? My salinity is stable at 1.024, Ca 440, Alk 4.0 dKh, PH 8.1, Temp 74 F. I have 2 8W Skye LED lights. |

Temp, alk and pH seem a little low Plus I do not know if 16 watts of light will support corals. I used to have a 14g biocube with 48 watts of pc lights and the seemed to do well.
