hyposalinity and Bloat

Lately, I been reading threads with people's fish bloated during hyposalinity so I'm not the only one that noticed this. So there has to be a relationship between these two... I've had multiple setups with hypo and a good portion of my fish get bloated... then eventually die. I've seen these same symptoms (fish bloating, can't balance or swim) in hypo treatments.

What's the reason for the bloat in marine fishes during the hyposalinity stage?

How can it be prevented?

I'm going to guess there's no cure?
