Absolutely gorgeous. I am in the process of transfer my 30g to my 72 bowfront and I hope it looks as full as your tank in the future! Gorgeous!

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. Its funny, when i found these pictures i was suprised. I really didnt remember half of the frags i had in there until i saw them again. At the time i had the tank i was convinced it wasn't good enough... Now looking at it i see i might just be a bit of a perfectionist!

Neat tank!
Nano reefs are quite the rage these days. The level of sophistication in the equipment and setup is incredible. About a decade ago, nano reefs were considered only for the expert-being difficult to keep a wide range of corals in such a fluctuating environment. Now, I am blown away at the level of detail and sustainability that hobbyists have come to obtain with tanks under 30 gallons. The small reef aquariums really do rival the breathtaking visual of the larger ones. |

I couldnt agree more! Though i would argue that a 75 can hardly be called a nano reef. The current tank i am working on definitely is, and though the equipment is available i have decided to try it the old fashioned way. Just a protein skimmer and a refugium and a single metal halide. The rest will be up to my thorough understandings of marin chemistry...

Bueatiful tank! Good luck with the nano. We went from a 210 reef to a 28 nano earlier this year until we move....and now that we are moving we are jumping up to a 280

Honesty, we both have felt like we almost got out of the hobby. Don't get me wrong, the 28 is a great tank and we have it packed full of coral & 2 clams and 3 small fish but going from a 6' slice of reef packed full of life with huge sps colonies to that small of a tank was too drastic a change for us....and are looking forward to jumping back into a big tank soon!
