baby colt maybe

I had a colt coral in this rock and my clowns just stressed it to death had to remove it from the rock cleaned the rock and put the rock back in the tank this was about two months when I did the upgrade to the 75, now in the same spot that the colt was I see something growing cant take a pic my phone wont capture it is still to small and a bit far, it looks like a colt but not sure , my question is could it be that maybe I left some residue from the old one and is growing again is purple/brown color and it has four branches with like little four polyps at the end
