3 month old tank-new algea-good or bad?

I just found a purple algea just like this in my 3 month old tank. Is this good or bad? The only site that I could find a pic of it on says that it is an encrusting coralline algea. Is that right? Is there such a thing?

Yes that is coralline and it is a sign of a healthy tank
