SWC 160 Cone Pump Not Working

Everything has been working just fine for a couple years.... I just turned off the skimmer 10 minutes ago to empty the collection cup. Upon plugging it back in, all I hear is a loud grinding noise and now I am not getting any bubbles rising up in the chamber... it's just sitting at a low water level like it does for a second before it "kicks in" and the bubbles rise up on power on...

Cleaned entire skimmer few weeks ago... not sure what to do...

Think I found the problem... took apart the skimmer and noticed the plastic pinwheel part of the impeller is broken and it caused the mesh part to be misaligned... guess I will buy a new pinwheel...

I think I need just the impeller right? I see a new "magnet case" too but I don't think the whole unit is needed.

I would get a whole new pinwheel(or mesh) impeller assembly... magnet, pinwheel, shaft, bearings.

Trying blowing in the air vent ( plastic air nipple on top), I have gone through 3 pumps with my swc 160,, this past Thursday my pumped stopped again,, I'm done with it and trashing it! I just ordered a ati 200i come skimmer from reef geek.
