coraline algae in refugium

I sent up a refugium on my 65 gallon tank abut 2 months ago. Chaeto, live rock and sand bed with led light. Everything seems to doing well, but i noticed coraline algae starting to grow done there. Is that ok? Good, bad other wise?

A lot of people want coral algae and tell it becomes so prolific that they have to scrape it out and that's a pain but to answer your question no coralline algae is fine in the sump just make sure it doesn't clog up your pump intake

A sign that you have a prospering system. Just remember to scrape it off your DT front glass! What a pain on a bowfront it can be!
