Bubble Magus Doser Issue

I setup my new bubble magus doser today per the instructions and purged the lines like it says to do. My problem I'm noticing is that my pumps run every hour, but in between the time I notice the fluid that is drawn up in the intake slowly goes back into the bottles. So the problem is when the pumps kick on it just sucks the liquid up a few inches. This is causing it to draw air into the pump. I checked the lines on the intake side and bubble magus bottle side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you creating a vacuum in your jugs? Do you have a way for air to get into the jug? I use 1 gallon jugs with the caps folks use who fly RC planes. It has two nipples on the cap, one for feeding liquid, the other to allow air into the jug.

I had this problem when I was using airline tubing with my dosing containers. I changed this out with the same hard tubing that is on my RO/DI filter and havn't had an issue since.

If your using caps on the containers then just drill a hole for the air to get in or remove the cap all together.

Only other thing I can think of is that your tubing isnt sealed all the way?

After researching and trying all the suggestions here and talking with Jeremy, I believe the issues with the pump heads not pinching the tubing enough. This is allowing air back into the inlet side. I am going to resolve the issue hopefully with some check valves while I wait for the vendor to send out new pump heads that hopefully won't have this issue. Thanks again everybody for the help

Well I got it figured out. The problem was with the rigid tubing that goes into the seaside container lid. They didn't glue the rigid tubing from the factory which cause air and it to lose siphon. I took the rigid tube out and super glued them back in. So far no more back siphoning.

What are "jugs with the caps folks use who fly RC planes"?
