Diatom Bloom

Hi All,
So, I finally have all my water parameters perfect and I noticed today that it seems as though all of my live rock and sand is starting to turn brown?? I am guessing I am having my first Diatom bloom? I have cycled my tank with SeaChem "stability" and the water parameters were all at "0" after 1 week instead of 4 weeks. I added 12 turbo snails and 10 hermit crabs to take care of the algae that was already present on my live rock but I don't think that they can keep up with the Diatom bloom. Should I add more cleaners? or will the diatom bloom just fade away. I am going to leave my MH lights off for the next day or two to see if that helps, but I want to make sure it doesn't get any worse.
Is this normal for a new tank to have happen?

Thanks,
Ryan

Its a phase in a new tank. It will go away on its own in time. The algae feeds off silica in the tank. Once its gone so will the brown stuff. Keep the regular light cycle and just let it ride itself out.
