My New Tank

29 BIOCUBE
IN TANK MEDI BASKETS
TITANIUM HEATER
TUNZE 6015 NANO POWERHEAD
STOCK PUMP ( FOR NOW )
WHITE SUGAR SAND
3 POUNDS OF LIVE ROCK GRAVEL (1# IN FUGE AND REST IN TANK )
Bunch of Dry Rock
GFCI POWERSTIP 4 SLOTS ARE TIME CONTROLLED

I have just started this tank and it is still in the cycle progress. I am looking forward to when i can start adding creatures. I think i want to do some LPS as this will be my first coral setup. What are some good easy begining coral to get. Also just want to get some opinons on the rock setup. Not sure if i like it or not lol and i like opions bad or good it helps.

Very nice start. I like the arch but I think one more piece of rock on top of either the left of right side of the arch rocks for more vertical heigth would look better. Here is a picture (dark) of my 50 cube, I have a center arch that is very similar to yours but I have additional rocks on either side of the arch:

Off to a good start but you can definately put more rock in there if you want.

When I had my BC29, I even used superglue gel to glue some to the back wall for some shelves for corals to grow on.

I have the same power strip for my small 6 gallon betta tank...are you sure it is GFCI?? I'm pretty sure it is just a surge protector with a timer control...not a GFCI.

I made it GFCI by changing the outlet. Best thing was when i went to buy it the cashier could not find it in the store system and sold it to me for $2. I went back to him with 3 more LOL
