tang in small tank for 3 days? moving help!

hi everyone, i am having a tank moved to my place tomorrow! saturday morning.. and i was told that i cannot put fish in right away have to wait about 3 days.. (saving as much of the water as possible and using all the rocks and new sand) can i put a 5 inch ish purple tang in a 30gallon tank for a few days (thats one of the fish i want to keep.. as well as a flame angel and a manderine...)

any ideas suggestions?? can i put the fish in right away? i am also moving my inhabitants from my 30 gallon into the new 75 gallon as well as all the corals and stuff.. im not sure yet on keepoing the 30 gallon or downsizeing to a 20gallon for my other pair of clownfish that i have.. cause a 10gallon is kinda small for a anemone right??

any help would be awesome, some suggestions.. thankyou!!

Having the fish in those tanks for a short amount of time is fine. Have you ever been to a fish store? lol

Do not put them in right away because you need to make sure that you don't get any spikes from the tank being moved. This is an established system that is being moved to your house, right?

lol yes i been to a fish store.. lol i was told i could keep them at the fish store but if its longer than 3 days they could sell them.. so they wont actually "hold" them for me... 3 days is their limit.. but that is that the girl at the fish store told me it would only take 3 days.. the fish comes with the 75 gallon.. and im not keeping all of them, half of them are going to the fish store for credit.. but i want to keep the purple tang and flame angel and the manderine dragonett... (there are 8 in total) and the girl that is helping really wants the big female maroon clown and the other small male clown so i am giving her those for a thankyou ... and then there is a blue hippo tang and a yellow tang and a emperer angel that i am not keeping..

also there are 2 fire shrimp and 2 reg cleaner shrimp and also some snails and a urchen.. that somes with them as well.. should those just go into my 30 gallon as well? will my 30 gallon get too full? WOW! thats gonna be lots in that little 30 gallon tank.. lol plus the rock and corals that are coming with the tank.....

+1 on not leaving it at the LFS. Unless you really trust them.

I kept mine in a brute trash can with some of my live rock, tank water, and and a powerhead for a couple days in a move I did... worked for me.

Thas still only 32 gal. You could split em up, half in the 30 gal, half into a trash can or tote.
