Now seeing it, it does not look like bacteria bloom.
Run some active carbon or chemi pure to buff water if you want clearer water. How much and often do you do a water change and are you dosing anything? |

What is your calcium level at? Too much calcium may cause cloudy water as well, IMO you don't have that much corals therefore using good quality salt mix and WC should replenish your levels no need for dosing calcium and strontium..

Use your test kit and post up your results
if your nitrate is zero your using your test kit wrong

When you put live rock in a tank some of it dies off
the end cycle of that is nitrates. even if you do a water change you still have nitrates in a tank. Quit stalling lol and postup your results ALL OF THEM! Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Magnesium, Calcium , dKH alkalinity, salinity without these no one can help you

I think its possible for nitrates to be 0, even after cycling. If the die-off was low there would be little ammonia would would be turned into nitrate. But that small ammount of nitrate could easily be diluted by water volume, absorption, and possibly DSB filtration to a level low enough to read 0.

In that small of a tank I have never seen nitrates at zero after cycling
looks like a 46 bow front. If your test kits are reading correct then i have no idea why your having the problems you are.. was it a used tank and maybe its leaching copper?

Not much rock in the tank means not much bio filter either. That .2 ammonia reasding you posted means your system is not able to process the amount of waste coming from those two or three healthy size fish I see there. If you have no sump or a very small sump with out additional bio filtering processes like additional rock and /or sand / mud / macro algae or skimmer then ...
Might be why your hammer is closing up as (Euphyllia Ancora) AKA Hammer Coral require fairly stable water parameters. Unstable water parameters is also the most likely cause of your cloudy water. Most likely other problems will ensue if not addressed. My suggestion to maintain this current set up is to feed very lightly and avoid the highly processed flake foods. I would utilize a fairly aggressive water change program to acheive a total monthly volume change of 25 - 30 %. I would utilize a drop bag of Purigen and PhosGuard combination in a high flow area and utilize a bacterial suppliment like StartSmart for saltwater to boost nitrifying de-nitrifying bacteria.
