First steps

Got some of my stuff in this week. Tank and stand is on order, should be here in 10 days or so (72X20X21 DSA tank).

HOB filter, heater, powerhead, thermometer, ammonia alert badge for QT came in earlier in the week. Refractometer and RO/DI came in yesterday. Impressed how well packaged everything was. I've ordered lots of stuff on line but never had it packaged like these were.

This is my sink hook up for my RO/DI. Don't laugh you have no idea what I've been through to jury rig this. We'll see if it leaks....hope to be making water later today.

This is the float valve that came with my unit. No instructions on how to use it. Do I drill the appropriate size hole in my container and hook up the blue production line to the compression fitting on the back of the float?

Thanks for the heads up, the TDS from the RO is running 5-10 and the TDS out of the DI is running 0. Still discard the first 10 gallons?
