Refugium question...
I don't have space for an under tank fuge, so I'm looking at putting a divider in my 5 ft tank and having a display worthy fuge with DSB and some macro. I was thinking a pump in the DT that would pump water into the fuge. The DT water level would need to be lower than the divider and I would prob cut 1/4 inch slits so it would overflow into the DT. Has anyone done anything like this and is there a better way to do it? Thanks

You can buy HOB refugiums... I bought some acrylic sheets and glue that I plan to try to design a hob style fuge but I am going to hang it on the inside of my sump. I will keep you posted on what I come up with. If it is something cheap I could maybe make a couple and i would be willing to make you one with the extra supplies I have if you pay for shipping. I am thinking flat rate boxes? Just an idea.... do you have a sump tank? what are the dimensions?

No sump, this is a room divider built in existing wall, so no sump and hob is not an option. Just looking to see if anyone else has pulled this idea off before. Thanks

Could you do a remote fuge? One of my buddies put a shelf above his display and drilled the tank for a bulkhead, he then set a pump in the display so it would pump water into the fuge and then that water would overflow back into the DT. Kind of like a reverse sump basically
