Anyone that has or had a coralife 220

I'm thinking of buying a coralife 220, but need to know the actual dimentions needed to run it. Some sites say 12 x 10, others 9 x6. I have a space that is 12 x 9.5 x 7" deep.
Will this fit? If not what would? is it worth the price?
any other suggestions would be greatly appriecated.

when i first set up 75g i had coralife 65 it ran fine but they do have there problems they can get very finicky with water level and the air pick up clog up with salt creep and some times are prone to overflowing . you would be better looking on bulk reef supply and ck out reef octpuss skimmers

I had one and worked ok but save money and get an sca-302... This skimmer works great and has a small footprint... Find iy on ebay. And if ur concerned google it there is huge write ups on it..( bubble magus knkckoff) but it uses tha atman pumps

Don't buy it. You will be wanting a better one in under a year. They are extremely sensitive to water level and overflow often. Just save a little longer and buy an octo or something with a better rep.

I say reef octopus also. I had a 65 for years and while they work after modding they aren't the best. I have a reef octopus BH90 now and love it. Way better. Look in the for sale forums here you can get a used skimmer for half price that would be better at your price point.
