Sailfin tang longevity??

How many years should a healthy sailfin tang live, i have had mine for 8 or 9 years and was several years old when i received him.. how many more years should my sailfin bless the waters of my tank?

edited to add, he/she is doing just fine the wife asked me how many years they live and i didnt know the answer so im here on RC to find out

Common Names : Sailfin Tang

Sailfin Tang Care Level : Easy to Moderate

Size : Up to 15 inches (39 cm)

Life span : 5 - 7 years or longer

Note: these yrs of life are in the wild, people have reported keeping them in tanks over 15 yrs. one reefer here on RC had his over 16yrs.

My dad had his for almost 14 years. His died when a farmer accidently hit the electric pole outside his house. Power was out 5 days in August and he lost his whole tank. His sailfin still looked very healthy and active until then.
