RODI unit running continuously with float valve
Hey fellas
Finally decided to resolve this., hoping for some input. Basically I have a float valve in my storage tank with a auto shut off valve on the RODI unit. It worked fine for 2 years. Now it runs continuously. I have checked the float and replaced the shut off valve since I had a brand new one laying around. My guess is the flow restrictor is the issue. Is anyone aware of this will cause the issue I am having? |

Probably a bad check valve. Are you sure you installed the new ASOV correctly?

Yes I did, checked several times.
Also if it is helpful, when I would use my flush valve my pressure gauge would go down to 40psi, now it only goes from 65psi to 60psi when it's being flushed. What leads you to believe it is the check valve? |

An ASOV needs a check valve between the RO membrane ouput and the ASOV input on the product side. If not it can cycle on and off. Doesn't always happen for various reasons but I would check to see that its ok.
Other then that its your float valve or the ASOV. Its possible its a dud.
