Recommendations for new lighting on 125 mixed reef

Moving on from 2 t5ho fixtures that totaled 872 watts. One of the fixtures is starting to act up and I think its time to invest a little bit. I keep a mixed reef with sps/lps/soft. Mostly the stuff you see in basic or mid level hobbyist tank. Everything seems to survive in my tank but not prosper, all show growth but at a slower pace. I think lighting is playing a part in that (probably not the only one)

I have a budget of 1000$ for the lighting. What are some specific recommendations? I'm open to different types and brands....does anyone know anything about the taotronics LEDs. I heard a couple of decent reviews from other hobbyists.

I the last month I switched to LEDs from 8 bulb t5s. I was way over due to change the bulbs so I went with 2 led fixtures. So far I still have them turned down. Not overly inpressed yet but I do have Hi hopes.
