Possible fix for aiptasia

So I recently purchased a high powered laser pointer and after messing around with it I decided to try shining an aiptasia that's been in my aquarium. I started shining him yesterday and all day today it stayed sucked in and I continued to shine him again today. Ill keep everyone posted on how it works if it does you can cure aiptasia without even getting your hands wet. Make sure you do not shine your coral I shined a tentacle of my frogspawn and it popped you could actually hear it pop.
