Need Help in programming Apex Controller for RBS Dosing Pumps

Hi Guys,
i just got new Apex lite controller, it looks awesome, the only thing i am stuck with for a moment its programming, i spent all evening reading manual, and searching for more clear instructions on forums and stil its not clear for me how to do that...i am musician , so got lost in programming
I was wondering if some can help me in programming of this pumps

i would like to dose ALK at 1.am for 10 min and at 9 am for 10 min and 5pm for 10 min

and to dose Calcium (different pump) at 5 am for 10 min and at 1 pm for 10 min and 9 pm for 10 min

so - both pumps,3 times during the day , for 10 min, every day

also, i would like to use outlets 4 and 8 on energybar8, but they assigned to pump2 and ozone, how to do this?

and last question, is it ok to use outlet 5 for heater, i am talking about 5 amp issue, i am really not good about electricity , what i read about dosing pumps , that they better be used on 4 and 8 outlets , but what about heater , will it be ok on assigned 5th outlet?

thank you so much for help in advance

If you want to dose that way, it'd probably be easiest to do something like this:

ALK

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 01:00 to 01:09 Then ON
If Time 09:00 to 09:09 Then ON
If Time 17:00 to 17:09 Then ON

CAL

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 05:00 to 05:09 Then ON
If Time 13:00 to 13:09 Then ON
If Time 21:00 to 21:09 Then ON

I'm sure there's other ways to do this... maybe someone else will chime in.

As to the heater, any other outlet will work. You would have to have approximately a 600 watt heater to reach the 5 amps that outlet is capable of.

Also, once everything is assigned to the outlet you want, you can rename that outlet to the name of the device that's plugged into it (instead of keeping it Pump2 or Ozone)... just go in to outlet setup to rename it. Just be sure that you don't name any two outlets the same.

Here is my ALK

Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/002:00/058:00 Then ON
If Time 05:00 to 18:59 Then OFF

It runs my 1.1ml BRS pump for 2 minutes an hour, 10 times. Adjust to meet your needs.

This has it run at 19:00 PM and stop before 5:00 AM, so it runs 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00. 00:00, 01:00, 02:00, 03:00, 04:00. It does not do the 05:00 run.

Please correct me if I am wrong
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/005:00/055:00 Then ON
If Time 09:00 to 02:59 Then OFF
that will make pump run each hour for 5 min from 3 am to 8 am (total 6 hors )

Normally calcium and alk are dose during the late night to early morning when pH is low and not during the day when pH is normally high. Mine is like this:

Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/004:00/116:00
If Time 07:00 to 23:59 Then OFF

This will dose 4 mins every 2 hrs

If you need to email you if the pump runs more that the 4 mins schedule , do this

Virtual outlet
Alk-Check
If Outlet ( your doser outlet) = ON Then ON
Defer 004:30 Then ON

Email_Alert
If outlet (virtual Alk check) = ON Then ON

This will email you if your pump runs over the scheduled time, I include 30 seconds defer just to give time for the pump to shut off. No email if pump is working normally

Than you for your feedback! trick with emails is realy awesome, definitely will use it!
the reason i am adding Alk through the night to early morning - is its BRS alk formula which also slightly raises PH
Thank you again :-)

At 1pm your light still on ...pH still high so I dose midnight( both calc and alk 45 mins apart) to early morning... I use BRS 2 part also.
