How to best plumb sump

I'm currently laying out a new sump. My current plan is to have the first divided section receive water from the tank and Calcium reactor. The next section would hold the skimmer while a third section would be a refugium. A 4th section would have enough room to drop in carbon if needed(in socks, of course). An external pump would then go back to the main tank. Is this the correct order? This is the first time I've tried a refugium and am not sure if I should be skimming before or after it.

that'll work fine. You want your skimmer before the refugium.
