fish question need help asap

can my fish stay in a bucket over night and what all do I need to keep in the bucket with them to be ok, accidently put to much salt in the water that I made up and put it in the tank

A heater and a small powerhead for water movement, you could use an airstone in lieu of the pump.

They will be fine, just put a heater and bubbler or powerhead in there.

forgot to add that they are still in the bag that they were shipped in if that makes a difference

In that case I would float the bag unopened for 15 minutes, then open and try to match the bag's salinity and ph in the bucket as quickly as possible drip acclimate for 15 minutes and then get him in the bucket. Once you open the bag the ammonia levels start to rise quickly so you can't wait an hour for a slow drip acclimation.
