how many sea swirls and what size?
I am in the process of building my 350 tank and need some advice on the sea swirls. My tank is 96x33x25 and I was curious as to what size I need and how many? I am going to run my return from the sump through them via a Reef Flo super dart gold pump. Any advice is appreciated.

I run four 3/4" Seaswirls with a single Iwaki 70 pump (1800gph). It was decent flow wide open throttle but I wanted more... I put 4 penductors on the seaswirls and had to turn the output of the Iwaki down about 40% due to crazy flow through my display. I have probably 5 times more flow now AND had to turn the pump down 40% as mentioned. If I were you, I'd run five or six 1" Seaswirls with penductors off of a pump that can move 2500-3000gph. You will have more flow than you need!

with the super dart, you can use 2 -1" seaswirls with the head loss, I run 2-1"
with a Hammerhead pump on my 300,12' head loss.
