RoboSnail

being a techy guy, I love new ways to not do things for my aquarium when I can find something to do it for me.

With that said, anyone bought a robosnail? How does it run? Is it as good as the youtube videos?

It is a great idea but i dont like the part where it will only do one pane of glass and also what happends if you get a piece of sand under it? It will continue to scratch the heck out of the tank until you notice it.

+1

got an e-mail a while ago when these were first released and thought the same thing. I'm sure when/if people start buying these there will be some disgruntled reefers. I can imagine territorial fish blasting the sand when it moves by and the chances of sand getting between the unit and the glass would be pretty good.

cool device though! we'll just have to wait and see.

IMO if you own both a decent sized reef tank, AND a Ferrari... I honestly don't know how you could possibly live with yourself if you did not ALSO own a TurboSnail too.
