Can I add LEDs?

I currently have a dual t5 HO lighting fixture. Can I simply add LED strips to increase lighting for coral? If so, how much is required to grow coral?

2 DIY strips would be pretty easy and you could make them any color you wanted.

yea DIY strips I guess. I found some on ebay. You can cut them at the foot sections I think. Will that be good enough for coral?

I didn't mean eBay strips, if you wanna grow coral I would suggest looking at rapid led or another DIY led website.
