AI Vega experience?

Hey RC,

I am at the point of ditching my Halide's for LED's, due to heat. With the price of chillers, Im just going to go LED.Does anyone with SPS dominant tanks use The AI Vega fixtures?Ive seen them over a heavily stocked LPS tank at the LFS I worked at, and it flat out grew LPS like nothing I've seen before(granted the tank was meticulously kept), but the lights performed incredibly.I am wanting to start with 2, and get the third when I get the funds.

So, anybody got any experience with them (3 months+)?

Or does anyone know of a better LED route?

BTW, I still love my Halide fixtures.

-Ray

I have AI vega's on my new 300 gal setup.. I also run metal halide for 3-4 hours a day. All I can say it has been a challenge to get the balance right.
If I had to do it all again, I think I would stay with T5 and Metal halide.

Well, I think I can get my old boss to program them for me.I considered the DIY LED route, I'm just not very confident about my fixture building skills.Price seems about the same.
