Problem with Aqueon ACP 1250 circulation pump
Hello all,
A few months back I bought an Aqueon 1250 and placed it in my 72g bow front tank, opposite an old Koralia pump (came with the tank) which seems to be a lot less powerful. However, this week the darn thing has fallen off the glass at least once a day. I took it down, took it apart, cleaned it and placed it again, following the simple instructions. However, it seems as if the suction ability it had no longer functions. I'm about to go and buy a Koralia Evolution which has the magnetic hold. Has anyone had similar problems? Any and all feedback will be most appreciated. Thanks |

I never have any luck with the suction cups. Really the only thing in my tank with suction cups is my heater which I just have it laying in my sump.

Can you mod it to attach to a mag float?

I've used the algae free sure grips in the past to fix similar issues. I once went out of town and a koralia fell into the sand and caused a sand storm for a day and a half.
You might have to email marinedepot about the bracket for your particular pump tho. |
