how much rock do you really need?.

i have a 125and its been set up for about 8 months. hate the rock i have and want to get new rock have any ideas that i can go with that wont kill my fish or corals and i have thought of the real reef but dont know how porus it is

Ok if im understanding you clearly you want different rock?
What kind do you have in there now? If you purchase any kind of live rock just make sure it's cured live rock, that way it's already cycled
Live rock this way does not hurt your fish, hope i answered your question.

I'd go with BRS Pukani. For a 125g 50lbs should be enough. I would do a search for it (there's tons) about adding pukani to an existing aquarium. It will take a little bit of work, but the rock looks great. I'd get the rock and gradually switch over what you have to the pukani.

Thats's approx 3/4 of the 50lbs of rock I bought. I have a 4x2x2 120g.

cool thanks... every change the sand in ur tank to. and i have about 200 pounds of all kinds of mixed rock, some brs reef saver, tuskin branch,fiji, vanuatu... and one or two other types
