Black Bar Chromis
These little guys are of the family Pomacentridae, Live Aquaria suggests keeping them in groups of six or more. Does this seem accurate? Would a group of 3 not thrive as well? I am wanting to get a small group of fish, such as chromis or cardinals. (Specifically pajama cardinals)
Any feedback on which is hardier or a better community fish is appreciated! Thanks! |

i like midget chromis. i have about 7 or 8 of them, and they are very active fish and stay smallish.
some cardinal fish are more huddlers, less active in a tank IMO.

Any thoughts on long term? Will they turn aggressive towards one another or remain peaceful?
