Corals that Fluoresce

I'm looking for corals that fluoresce under the blue LEDs that I run at night. I have some, like my Yellow Tort, Galaxea coral and Orange Pavona coral that glow when the lights go out.

My Yellow tort lights up like a Christmas tree when the lights go out.

Any other corals that glow like that under the nightime blue LEDs? I'm assuming that it's mostly the LPS corals that glow and not the SPS?

I would prefer SPS at this point, because my tank isn't very big and I don't have a ton of room in the sand for more LPS.

There are lots of SPS that fluoresce, particularly some of the green Acroporas or some green/orange/red Montiporas.

I'd recommend you ask the store where you want to buy frags/colonies to turn on the blue light only so you can check it in person for the individual specimen.

Pretty much anything green, yellow, or a variation of red (though normally not maroon).

Stay away from blue. +1 for asking the store.

Neat. I've liked those corals and was looking at buying one. I'll see if I can find one at the frag swap this weekend.

SPS do glow. Bali slimer, millepora, montipora, fiji, etc. Here's a pic under T5 actinics:

You have lots of other choices for things that glow under blue light. Here's a photo of a glowing mini/maxi, I believe I took under LED blue 1W moonlights:

I know you already have glowing LPS, but how about one more for variety? Here's a blastomussa, also under 1W blue LED moonlights:

That's exactly what I'm trying to accomplish. A colorful tank by day and one that glows at night under the blue LEDs.

I'll have to write all those down so I know when I'm shopping.

You won't see anything brighter than Kryptonite Candy Cane. In my experience.

+1 there! They are too bright IMHO, but they do light up!

All good advise, look for green variations and other light colours, try to stay away from blue, they tend to just mix in with actinic lighting.
