Cool Tunze 9002 in JBJ 28 Nano Cube

I ordered the Tunze 9002 skimmer without the magnet so I wouldn't have to deal with cutting it off to get it to fit. But my question is, how do you control the position in the chamber to ensure its at the proper water level if there's no magnet to hold it in place?

When I had one in my JBJ 28 I just cut a couple pieces of 1.5" PVC, zip tied them together and used them like a couple pillars to hold the skimmer at the proper height.

Most people will just put an piece of airline tubing down the side of the skimmer to make it a tight fit in the chamber. It's pretty tight to start with but if yours is loose then this works great and still makes it easily adjustable unlike building a stand.
