Any one use a frag tank with a built in sump?

So I am gonna add a frag tank to my basement...there are some nice ones on eBay. The reef ready ones are nice but I really don't have room for a sump underneath... The builder makes some nice tanks with a overflow/sump and return area built into the back. Kind of like a shallow nano tank... There a little room for my bubble magnus skimmer and a bit of rock.

Has anyone built or bought a frag tank like this and had any good success? The one I am looking at is 24x24x12...

I have seen some guys using nanos as frag tanks but not much room for a skimmer....
