Do a water change. Let the ALK come down over the next few days. Shouldn't be a big deal as long as you don't spike ALK that high often. A 1 time won't shock your system.

11 really isn't that bad. I would just it fall naturally and turn off the doser for a day.

Thank you! It seems every time ANYTHING happens in someones' tank the cry goes out; "DO A WATER CHANGE."
Water changes for a "band aid" are never appropriate, unless the change is close to the regular schedule anyway.

11 dkh is common in a lot of salt mixes.. Like others said, just let it come down on its' own.

It all depends on how fast the change happened. And what corals you have.
If you have any birdsnest sps, they might bleach.

I did something similar. I didn't do a water change just let things mellow out naturally. A few inhabitants were obviously unhappy with an Alk of +10. My RTBA went rouge and nearly caused a path of destruction. A few other things closed up but it's ok now. Pretty much my own fault in my case. Bought a bunch of test kits and decided to chase values rather than keeping with my own intincts. I will stick with what has been working and go slow.
