Thoughts on SC Aquariums
I've searched the forums and there's only one not that informative thread on here about SC Aquariums. I know they are a Cadlights knock off but I dont really care as long as it doesn't fall apart and is decently put together. I'm in my apartment for another year and I want a nice system but I'm not going to go all out until I get my place. This tank seems like a real good deal for the price.
There's gotta be at least a few people on here that have these tanks. |

If it is $600, it is a very good price with that configuration: rimless tank, sump and stand.

I have a sneaking suspicion that these ARE actually CADlights tanks. I remember seeing a similar name pop up in their store when they were selling their knock off skimmers.

I wish I could get a consistent answer! I'm hearing similiar things. I don't really care if its the same as the CADlights as long as the thing doesn't fall apart or leak.

I wouldnt buy a knock off tank or anything that holds 600lbs of water and rocks. but thats just me.
they arent the same. my CAD Lights tank has a seamless Trapezoid overflow with laser cut surface skimmers. asides from that, every piece of equipment seems to be completely different and of much better quality. |

That website is terrible. No contact tel # or address or anything. Where are these guys located? They could be in Nigeria for all you'd know. I wouldn't buy based on the website alone. Good luck getting any Customer Service from these guys.
