Clownfish with Velvet
What is the best way of treating this?
I've had my clownfish for almost a week and after a few days the larger one turned darker and developed a strange shiny appearance on her skin. Both the larger and smaller one were scratching against the rocks but I presumed it was ICH but no whitespots appeared but after reading up about Velvet it seems they both have this. Are my fish doomed? i tried a FW dip for 4 minutes for the larger one earlier. I don't have a QT tank so should I get one tomorrow and start dosing with copper? Really gutted this happened as I purchased these fish from a LFS with a brilliant reputation. |
